Past students and staff were warmly welcomed back to Hill Campus. The meeting point was Horbury Hunt Hall where lifelong friends embraced and others reconnected for the first time in decades.
Current students proudly led alumni through the school grounds, giving visitors a glimpse into the vibrant life of NGS today.
Following the tours, guests gathered on the Hill Building Balcony for drinks and canapés, enjoying the spectacular views and catching up with old friends and classmates. Laughter, stories and memories filled the air as alumni reminisced about their time at NGS. The Class of 2015 opened their time capsule, capturing an insight into how much (or how little) they’ve changed in ten years!
The celebrations continued into the evening with various reunion gatherings held across Newcastle, where individual year groups shared stories and plenty of laughter.
The NGS Alumni Weekend was a true testament to the lifelong connections our graduates make at Newcastle Grammar School. We thank all who joined in the fun and we look forward to welcoming more alumni faces in the years ahead.
